Recent Project Overview

A Procomm client recently requested a review of their security protocols across their multi-site manufacturing and Head Office facilities. In response we designed, installed, and commissioned a Forcefield Access Control system.

The Forcefield platform enables the seamless integration of multiply Challenger Tecom Access Control and Alarm Panel infrastructure across the client’s WAN. Each client site has installed Tecom systems to control access to Automated Vehicle entry gates, Pedestrian gates and Turnstiles, and Office and Factory doors.

Forcefield allows each individual site to update access user groups, live view/review access activity, and issue or revise Staff access levels. The partitioning features of Forcefield prevent accidental or unauthorized
intra-site amendments to security protocols while allowing the system’s Head Office administrators to quickly respond to any new single or multiple site access requirements.

Staffs moving across the various company sites are given preprogrammed access via their Photo ID Proximity Cards. This single Proximity card is active across all designated facilities and also interfaces with the Kronos timekeeping modules.

An integral part of the new security system was the multiple site installation of Automated Security gates and Turnstiles, and Networked Surveillance systems. Procomm has project managed and installed the complete system.

Our client now has the ability to control and monitor all Staff and Visitor Pedestrian and Vehicle access across their facilities with a security technology infrastructure readily expandable for future growth.
